if you’ve never cut, don’t start now. 

I’ve never told anyone (who knows me off the internet) about my “issue,” not even my best friends. I’m afraid everyone would see me as a different person. Everyone knows me as the loud, carefree girl who’s always laughing and smiling.

It really does suck when you want to wear short sleeves and stuff, but you can’t because you’re afraid of what people would see. 

Yesterday I went to the beach and the scratches burned sooooo bad. I kept my bracelets on the whole time. 

You think “One time won’t hurt” or “I’ll be able to control it” 

i thought that too. You can’t. It can and will become an addiction. 

I’m contemplating weather I should get help or not. It’s getting scary.

The point is, if you’re thinking of self harming, tell someone. Talk to someone. Dont take out your anger and insecurities out on yourself.

And if you self harm, it’s never too late to get help. Because life does get better. It has to.
